Curved Magnum, also called Round Magnum or soft-edge magnum, places the needle points along a curved working edge. Choose it when the task centres on blending tones, softening the edge of a shaded area or building a background transition. The wider grouping gives you coverage while the curved profile supports a softer-edged working approach.
For a versatile greywash setup, start with a 0.30 mm Long Taper grouping such as 9, 11 or 13 needles. Choose a smaller grouping to stay within a local transition, or move to a wider grouping when the design gives you more area to cover. In 0.30 mm Long Taper, the actual range extends from 7 to 27 needles.
Match wire diameter to the coverage you need
0.25 mm: finer-wire, Long Taper options in 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 needles, useful when your priority is detailed tonal work and layered shading.
0.30 mm: a versatile Long Taper choice for combining controlled transitions with broader coverage. This is a practical starting diameter if you are building one general-purpose curved-magnum selection.
0.35 mm: thicker individual wires for artists who prefer that configuration for colour work and larger shaded areas. Long Taper and Medium Taper are available in different count ranges; choose the taper first to see the corresponding configurations.
At the same needle count, finer wires create a different working grouping from thicker wires. Increase count for a wider working area, and choose the diameter for your preferred delivery and control. The native selector keeps the actual factory combinations together.
Visibility and support in your cartridge setup
The clear, low-profile housing lets you see the tip area and needle during work. An internal safety membrane helps limit fluid return towards the machine, while the fit between the grouping and the tip supports the needles as they move.
Made with 304 stainless-steel needles, EO sterilized and individually packaged: materials and preparation suited to a professional cartridge setup. Each box contains 20 cartridges of your selected configuration.
How do I read the size options?
Diameter is the thickness of each individual needle; count is the number of needles in the grouping. In this range, 8 denotes 0.25 mm, 10 denotes 0.30 mm, 12 denotes 0.35 mm and 14 denotes 0.40 mm. Each subseries has its own diameters and combinations. Taper identifies the point profile; the factory style names distinguish the tip versions.
Which connection do these cartridges use?
Revolution uses a standard universal-type cartridge connection for compatible machines and grips. Choose your configuration above to see its current price and availability.
