Bring a broader edge to colour and directional passes
M1 gives the working area a wider edge than a focused liner or compact round shader. Choose it for colour fields, backgrounds and directional shading where the form benefits from covering a broader section. A smaller magnum can work inside a narrow shape; a larger one belongs where the design gives it enough room.
Choose M1 when broad colour packing and directional work lead the task. Compare RM when the curved, softer-edge profile better suits the blend you are building. A liner remains the choice for the main contour.
Choose working width and needle body
1005M1 and 1007M1 are useful starting configurations for smaller sections. They use 0.30 mm wire with five or seven points. Choose five for the narrower working footprint and seven when you want more width without moving immediately to a large magnum.
The 10 series offers odd-numbered groupings from 5 to 27; the 12 series offers odd-numbered groupings from 5 to 23. The 10 prefix identifies 0.30 mm wire and the 12 prefix 0.35 mm. Compare the same count when changing wire—for example 1015M1 and 1215M1—to keep a 15-point grouping while changing the individual needle body.
For a broad section that calls for a more substantial needle body, consider 1215M1; choose 1221M1 or 1223M1 when the area supports a wider grouping. Let the space inside the design set the width, rather than using the largest cartridge everywhere.
Professional quality for the broader working area
304 stainless steel needles and EO sterilisation form Thunder Pro’s professional needle specification. Selected to ATTO’s highest professional quality standard, the range pairs its working geometry with a standard universal cartridge connection for compatible pens.
Start with 1005M1 or 1007M1 for a smaller working section, then choose the width that serves your next fill or transition.
Which pack suits my use?
Choose 10 for introducing a configuration or keeping a secondary size available. Choose 20 for a magnum you use regularly, with more of the same Style ready for appointments and fewer repeat orders.
Which connection does it use?
The standard universal cartridge connection fits compatible tattoo and PMU pens using that format. Choose your needle grouping around the design and its working space.
