Choose a working width that fits the area

M1 Magnum arranges the needles in staggered rows with a straight working edge. It is a practical shape for colour packing, black fills and broader shading. A smaller magnum helps you place the grouping inside a narrow section; a larger one covers more area when the design opens out.

For a versatile filling setup, begin with a 0.30 or 0.35 mm grouping of 9, 11 or 13 needles. Choose a smaller count when placement matters most, or move to 15, 17 and wider groupings for larger sections. Long Taper in 0.30 mm extends to 27 needles, while 0.35 mm Long Taper includes a compact 5-needle option.

Build your selection around diameter and taper

0.25 mm Long Taper: finer-wire choices of 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 needles for controlled tonal work and smaller-scale shading within the magnum format.

0.30 mm Long Taper: a versatile route across a broad range of counts, useful when you want both local shading and wider coverage in the same wire diameter.

0.35 mm: thicker individual wires for a colour-filling setup with a more substantial grouping at the same count. Choose Long Taper or Medium Taper from the actual configurations shown.

Visibility and support in your cartridge setup

The clear, low-profile housing lets you see the tip area and needle during work. An internal safety membrane helps limit fluid return towards the machine, while the fit between the grouping and the tip supports the needles as they move.
