Keep the shading inside the detail

Round Shader uses a round grouping with space between the needles. It suits compact colour fills and local shading, particularly when the design calls for working around curves or within a small shape. Choose RS to keep the working footprint concentrated while building the tone or fill inside that area.

Start with 5 or 7 needles for a versatile local-shading selection. Choose 3 needles for a smaller working footprint, then move to 9, 11 or 14 as the area grows. The 18-needle Long Taper option provides the largest grouping in this RS range.

One diameter, two taper choices

This Revolution RS range uses 0.35 mm individual needles. Select Long Taper or Medium Taper according to the point profile you prefer, then choose the count. Long Taper covers 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14 and 18 needles; Medium Taper covers 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 14.

Keep the count close to the shape you need to fill: smaller groupings help you stay within narrow sections, while larger ones cover more of a compact area. For a broad background or a long blended transition, the Revolution magnum shapes provide a wider working edge; RS keeps its role as the focused round shading option.

Visibility and support in your cartridge setup

The clear, low-profile housing lets you see the tip area and needle during work. An internal safety membrane helps limit fluid return towards the machine, while the fit between the grouping and the tip supports the needles as they move.

Made with 304 stainless-steel needles, EO sterilized and individually packaged: materials and preparation suited to a professional cartridge setup. Each box contains 20 cartridges of your selected configuration.

How do I read the size options?

Diameter is the thickness of each individual needle; count is the number of needles in the grouping. In this range, 8 denotes 0.25 mm, 10 denotes 0.30 mm, 12 denotes 0.35 mm and 14 denotes 0.40 mm. Each subseries has its own diameters and combinations. Taper identifies the point profile; the factory style names distinguish the tip versions.
