Build colour with a round shading footprint
RS spreads the needle points in a round shader arrangement, giving you a small area of coverage rather than the tight grouped line of RL. That distinction matters when you move from drawing a border to building the colour inside it. Use RS for local shading and gradual transitions, with the grouping chosen to match the area you are working across.
For powder brows, a smaller shader lets you work around edges and changes in the design; a larger grouping covers more area within the same round family. In lip work, RS belongs in the colour-building stage. Keep a liner alongside it when the appointment also calls for a precise border, so each cartridge has a clear role.
Match the grouping to your working area
Choose 1003RS for compact shading or 1005RS as a broader starting shader. All three numbered RS choices below use 0.30 mm needles, so the useful comparison here is the grouping size. Choose seven points when you want the largest round shading footprint in this range.
| Style |
Configuration |
Role in your setup |
| 1003RS |
3RS · 0.30 mm |
Small round grouping for local colour and detailed transitions. |
| 1005RS |
5RS · 0.30 mm |
A broader round shader for colour-building work. |
| 1007RS |
7RS · 0.30 mm |
The largest numbered RS grouping here for more coverage. |
The selector also offers 3RSF-0.3MM as a separate Style. If you are replenishing that configuration, select its exact label alongside your preferred pack.
For a wider flat footprint, compare F or U in the cartridge guide. For a tightly grouped contour, choose RL. This keeps the shading choice tied to coverage instead of treating every multi-point cartridge as the same tool.
A clear view while you build the gradient
Your cartridge should support the work in front of you: a clear view of the tip, a protected machine and a dependable professional construction. Pinky combines 304 stainless steel needles, EO sterilisation, a silicone safety membrane and a transparent medical-grade PC housing. The membrane forms a protective barrier against pigment and fluid backflow into the machine; the transparent housing lets you watch the working tip and pigment as you shape the design.
Watching the tip and pigment is especially useful as you move between the edge and centre of a shaded area. The protective construction supports your professional setup while the selected grouping determines the footprint you bring to the design.
Put 1003RS into your detail-shading setup, or choose 1005RS for broader round coverage, then select your pack. Use the PMU cartridge guide to pair your shader with the liner or wider arrangement your work also needs.
Which pack suits my appointments?
Choose 10 cartridges when introducing a configuration into your work. Choose 20 for a Style you use regularly, keeping more of your core configuration ready for appointments with fewer repeat orders. The 10-cartridge option with a finger sleeve includes that accessory alongside your cartridges.
Which machines can I use it with?
The standard universal cartridge connection fits compatible PMU and tattoo pens, including the Biomaser U1. It lets you add this configuration to a universal-cartridge setup while keeping your familiar machine.
