Seven positions for a familiar working setup

The positions are 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.3, 3.6, 3.9 and 4.2 mm. The range lets you change mechanical travel on the same pen, with smaller steps between settings rather than one fixed stroke.

Use the shorter and longer ends as different responses within your own technique. Keep a familiar cartridge and working exercise when comparing positions so you can judge the change in the machine's feel directly. Once you have a useful combination, record stroke, cartridge and voltage together.

Working information within view

The display shows voltage, battery level and elapsed time. Keeping those details on the pen makes the working setup easier to follow as you move around the design, with wireless power keeping a cable out of the hand's path.

The controls give stroke and electrical settings separate roles in the complete configuration. Choose the mechanical travel for the response you want, then use the operating settings alongside your hand movement and needle grouping.
