Organise Tattoo Cartridges by Family and Full Style

Arrange RL, RS, M1 and RM by working role, keep configurations in their original packaging and place reserves beside the tools you use regularly.

Give RL, RS, M1 and RM separate working zones and keep each configuration in its original labelled packaging. Put the configurations you actually use closest to hand and keep their reserve boxes behind or beside the matching location. Your drawer should retrieve a known selection, not require you to decode a loose collection every time.

Build the zones around working roles

Use the four families as the first level of the tattoo cartridge drawer. RL (round liner) serves line and detail work; RS (round shader) gives a compact shading arrangement; M1 (magnum) provides straight row-based coverage; RM (round magnum) uses a curved magnum arrangement. These roles make a practical layout, while the exact Style specifies the cartridge within each family.

Keep your Thunder Pro RL liners in the line-work zone and Thunder Pro RS shaders beside it for compact shading. Give M1 magnums and RM magnums distinct sections in the broader-coverage area. If your studio uses several cartridge ranges or connections, separate those identities before applying the family layout.

Use the original pack to identify each configuration

Needle count alone leaves part of the choice unresolved. 1015M1 and 1015RM have the same wire code and count but different arrangements. Likewise, 1015M1 and 1215M1 belong in separate labelled locations: the 10 and 12 wire codes indicate 0.30 and 0.35 mm respectively.

Keep each full Style together in its original packaging within the family section. For example, 1015M1 identifies the 0.30 mm, 15-point M1 option; its original product label already carries the selection. This makes the comparison available where you retrieve the cartridges, without copying the specification onto another label.

Separate working stock from its reserve

Use the front for the packaged cartridges you retrieve regularly; place unopened reserve boxes beside the matching configuration. Keep individual packs intact until use and follow the product’s storage instructions. A drawer divider organises retrieval; it does not replace the supplied packaging.

ATTO tattoo needles use 304 stainless steel and EO sterilisation and meet our highest professional quality standard. Keeping the individually packaged identity intact supports that professional purchasing choice. Set aside a trial Style in its own small location so it can earn a regular place without becoming mixed with your established stock.

Choose refills for the work you do

When the working location needs refilling, use its matching reserve box. For the next purchase, prioritise the configurations used regularly and choose the pack size for your expected use. Thunder Pro options offer boxes of 10 or 20; choose quantity from your actual usage rather than treating a larger box as a different needle.

The exact-Style reorder guide shows how to carry that identity into the order. Start with the configurations already used in your work and place their reserves beside the corresponding family section. A useful drawer makes your known tools easier to retrieve and your next order easier to repeat.

Questions about cartridge storage

Should I sort only by needle count?

Use family and full Style. A 15-point M1 and RM have different arrangements, and their wire diameters can also differ.

Do I remove individual packaging to save space?

Keep it intact until use. Organise packaged cartridges and retain the supplied product identity.

Is a box of 10 a different Style from a box of 20?

Pack size is a quantity choice. Select it alongside the complete needle Style on the product page.
