Reorder Tattoo Cartridges: Match the Exact Style and Pack

Use a simple reorder card to preserve cartridge identity and distinguish needle count, cartridges per box and the number of boxes in your cart.

Keep the product range, complete Style code and cartridges per box together when reordering. “Five needles” is not an exact cartridge identity, and “quantity two” does not tell you how many cartridges will arrive until you check the pack size. A short reorder card makes both decisions clear.

Save a complete reorder card

  • Product: the exact range and product link.
  • Style: the full code, such as 1005RS.
  • Decoded configuration: diameter, needle count and arrangement.
  • Pack size: cartridges supplied in one box.
  • Order quantity: boxes required and resulting cartridge units.

Keep a photograph of the box label or the previous order line with this card. Use it to confirm the selection on the current product page rather than relying on a remembered colour or an abbreviated note.

Reorder card example: Thunder Pro 1005RS, 0.30 mm, five round shader needles, 20 per box, two boxes equals 40 cartridges
Worked order example. The five in 1005RS is the needle count, not the number of cartridges supplied.

Read 1005RS without losing a field

In the current Thunder Pro RS range, 1005RS identifies 0.30 mm diameter, five needles and a round shader arrangement. The leading 10 identifies the diameter convention; 05 is the needle count; RS is the family.

Changing to 1205RS retains five needles and RS but changes the diameter to 0.35 mm. Changing to 1005M1 retains 0.30 mm and five needles but changes the arrangement to a staggered double-row magnum. Changing to 1007RS keeps the diameter and family but increases the count to seven.

Each may be a good selection for its intended job, but none is an exact repeat of 1005RS. When repeating a known configuration, match the whole code before considering a different one.

Separate needle count from box quantity

The Thunder Pro RS and M1 listings offer 10- and 20-cartridge packs. Choosing 1005RS does not select five cartridges: it selects a cartridge containing five needles. The pack selector decides how many cartridges are supplied in one box, and the cart quantity decides how many boxes you buy.

For example, two boxes of 20 supply 40 cartridges. If your example requirement is 30 cartridges, three boxes of 10 supply exactly 30, while two boxes of 20 supply 40. Compare the actual cart subtotal and the extra units before choosing; this arithmetic does not establish which pack is better value at every price.

Check the current selection, then add it to the cart

  1. Open the exact product link from the reorder card.
  2. Select the complete Style code and the intended pack size.
  3. Confirm that the selected option is currently available and read its displayed price.
  4. Set the number of boxes, then check the cart line’s configuration and pack size.
  5. Calculate the total cartridges and keep the confirmed order line with the card.

A photograph, colour marker or shortened SKU is a useful prompt, but it should not replace these fields. Similar-looking boxes can belong to different configurations or pack sizes. If your preferred selection is unavailable, choose another configuration deliberately for its working task rather than treating it as an identical reorder.

Choose an exact repeat or a purposeful change

Thunder Pro cartridges meet ATTO’s highest industry quality standard, with 304 stainless steel needles and EO sterilisation. That quality lets you concentrate on choosing the geometry for the work. An exact repeat is sensible when the existing configuration fits your regular task; a new configuration belongs in a separately labelled comparison.

If you are changing the shading shape, read our RS versus M1 comparison or the existing Thunder Pro family guide. For an exact repeat today, open the RS listing or the M1 listing and match the saved code and box quantity.

Before the next reorder, replace any note such as “five shader, two” with one complete line: Thunder Pro — 1005RS — 20 cartridges per box — 2 boxes — 40 cartridges total.

Questions before your next session

Does 1005RS mean a pack of five cartridges?

No. The 05 identifies five needles in the cartridge. The pack option identifies the number of cartridges supplied.

Can I use the same cartridge code across different ranges without checking?

Keep the product range with the code. Confirm the current listing and its configuration rather than assuming identical construction from the code alone.

What should I do if my exact style is unavailable?

Treat any different configuration as a new selection. Compare its diameter, count and arrangement with the intended task before choosing.
