When tattoo or PMU supplies arrive, check the complete product option and packaged quantity against the order before putting them into working stock. Keep different Styles and pack sizes on separate lines, even when their names or SKU codes look similar. If an item does not match or arrives damaged, keep it unused and contact ATTO with the order number and a clear description of the difference.
This small receiving routine gives the next appointment or practice session the supplies you actually ordered. It also makes a question about one item easier to resolve without turning the whole delivery into a guessing exercise.
Start with the order, then the item in front of you
Use the confirmation for this delivery as the reference. For each ordered line, compare the product, selected option and number of packages with what arrived. A general name such as “liner cartridges” is a useful category, but the complete Style and pack size tell you which working configuration belongs in stock.
For a cartridge, keep the grouping, wire diameter code and pack together. An 0803RL round liner and an 0805RL round liner are different configurations. A box of 10 and a box of 20 also represent different quantities, even when both contain the same Style. The tattoo cartridge code guide helps interpret the identity when you need it.
Read the available package information while keeping the item in its supplied condition. If the full identity is unclear, photograph the relevant label and ask about that exact item. A readable picture and the order line provide a stronger starting point than guessing from the colour of the cartridge or the outer box.
Keep three kinds of identity on the same row
The product option describes the choice; the SKU is the shop's stock code; the ordered quantity tells you how many packages you bought. Keep all three where they are available. The selected option distinguishes pack choices that share a stock code.

Two current ATTO examples show why the full option is useful:
-
Thunder Pro 0803RL: the box of 10 uses SKU
0803RL-GREEN, while the box of 20 uses0803RL. Keep the Style and box quantity together rather than treating either SKU as the whole description. -
Blank 3 mm practice skin: the one-, three- and five-piece options share SKU
JL-804-1 LX-1. The selected quantity option distinguishes them. A five-piece package is one ordered package containing five sheets.
When a SKU is absent from an order detail, record the product and complete option. The full description keeps your purchase identifiable.
Count packages and contents as different quantities
Start with the number of supplied packages. Then use the stated contents to understand the working supply. For example, two boxes of 20 cartridges represent 40 cartridges; two boxes of 10 represent 20. The number “two” alone does not describe the amount of stock you received.
The same distinction applies to practice sheets, pigment bottles, cups and applicators. Record the sheet format as well as the count, the actual shade and capacity for a bottle, or the dimensions and quantity of a cup pack. Keep individually sealed goods sealed for this check; use the available outer information and contact ATTO if quantity or condition needs clarification.
Once a line is matched, place it with the same complete configuration in your existing storage system. If you use both universal and threaded PMU cartridges, keep those connection groups distinct. The PMU cartridge organisation guide explains that stock layout.
Separate a wrong item, a damaged item and a change of mind
If the received option differs from the confirmation, name the difference directly: “ordered 0803RL, box of 20; received a label showing another Style.” If there is visible damage, describe where it is and include a photograph of the item and relevant packaging. Keep the affected item unused, with its packaging and supplied accessories, while arranging the next step.
A change-of-mind request has a different purpose. ATTO's current return policy requires notification within 30 days after receipt and sets out new-condition, original-packaging and accessory requirements. It also explains return authorisation and the different shipping treatment for a change of mind versus a defective, damaged or wrong item. Arrange the return with ATTO before sending the goods back.
Use the ATTO contact page and provide the order number, item, condition and reason for the request. A compact message is enough when it connects the order with the actual item. For example: “Order [number], item [name], ordered option [full option], received [label/quantity], condition [description]. Photos attached.” Fill in the bracketed fields with your own details.
Finish with a stock record you can reuse
For each matched line, retain the product, full Style or shade, pack contents, number of packages and receipt date. Mark a queried item separately so it is not mistaken for available working stock. When the issue is resolved, update that same record rather than creating another conflicting list.
Use the full option for your next purchase. The Thunder Pro RL listing keeps the current Style and box choices together; practice-sheet listings keep their own formats and quantities. The right reorder begins with the configuration already doing a job in your studio, and this receiving note preserves it.
Receiving questions
Can I identify every item by SKU alone?
Keep the SKU alongside the full product option. Some pack choices share a SKU and some listings have no SKU value, so the option and ordered package quantity remain important.
Should I open individual sealed cartridges to count the delivery?
Keep them sealed. Compare the outer identity and stated pack quantity with the order, and contact ATTO if the information or condition is unclear.
What should I send when one item does not match?
The order number, product, complete ordered option, what arrived and its condition, with clear photographs. Use the current return policy and arrange authorisation before sending an item back.
